The Portable Antiquities Scheme

An incomplete cast lead alloy miniature candlestick dating to the 17th century. The object is circular in plan. The fragment consists of only the base of the candlestick. The remains of a central projection which would have formed the stem of the candlestick projects from the centre of the object. The object has a mid-grey patina and is in poor condition.A similar example can be found in Egan, (1998), p190.
