Copper alloy probable miniature Terret Ring. Cast ring, internal diameter 11mm, of plano-convex section with a pair of rounded knobs either end of a segment of the hoop with a straight external edge, though curved like the rest within. The knobs project from one side only, which along with the form suggests the object was cast in an open mould. Suggested date: Early Roman, 40-100.Diameter: 20.2mm, Thickness (clear of knobs): 3.3mm, Weight: 4.38gms.
