Paleolithic Flake tool. Dimensions 69 x 48 x 21mm. Oval secondary flake with c.40% thin cortex on the distal face. The ventral face has been extensively modified by shallow peripheral flaking, leaving part of flake’s surface as a central area. The flake is stained light brown over grey flint, shown by small edge damage on the dorsal right edge. The tool resembles a miniature handaxe. Palaeolithic, possibly Middle Palaeolithic.
