A copper-alloy hand, 19mm in length, 10 mm in width and 8mm thick, all that survives of a presumably originally complete miniature human figurine. This is the left hand and it is clasped and appears that the fingers and thumb originally grasped a circular cross-sectioned shaft of some kind. This hand is Roman in date.
