An unusual encrusted small discoidal object of uncertain material, use or period, probably dating to between the later Medieval to early Modern (c. 1450-1800 AD). The object may be a token which was supposed to imitate the look of a long cross farthing or miniature penny; as such, the reverse has a long cross with at least two pellets in each quadrant. There are inner circles on both sides. The legends are illegible and the central design on the obverse is uncertain, but seems to be a 'P'. Due to the severity of the surface wear of this object, a full identification is impossible. However, because of the thinness of the object and the style of the central letter, it is likely that this dates to the latter half of the suggested period and was used in a less rugged manner than typical lead alloy tokens of the period.
