MEDIEVAL HARNESS PENDANT

A cast copper alloy miniature escallop-shell shaped harness pendant. The suspension loop has broken off and the break is very worn. The shell is decorated with raised ridges. The reverse is undecorated. The object is well worn with a mid greenish-brown patina. It is medieval in date.
