Fana for West Manland’s Company, Uppland’s Three and Five Men’s Regiment. Simple canvas of green (now brown yellow) tuft with painted decor. On one side the Archangel Mikael riding a horse, carrying a sword and a shield with an IHS inscription. The motif is surrounded by a laurel wreath tied up by gold rosette. Above the wreath and St Micael’s head a triangle with the Jahve sign within a beam sun. In the upper corner towards the bar side the coat of arms of West Manland, a fire-spraying mountain. In the lower corner towards the bar side and the upper corner of the flight side Karl XII’s monogram. A canopy of decorative waveband with leaves. In addition, two language bands with the texts are included: “He confesses me, for will iag uthiälpa him” and “Lofwad ware God then my prayer does not reject or wender his goodness from me.” On the other side a warrior to horse, armour and helmet, and sword of bay leaves. Otherwise, the subject is consistent with the description above. The two language bands have the following texts: “Up Lord and hielp me min Gudh” and “For iag forgives me not on my boga, ock mitt swärd can ey hielpa me, without You hielper us from wåra enemies.” The painting is executed in the colors red, yellow, green, brown, blue, gray, white, black, silver and gold.
