Peasant painting in three parts according to the register card, of which this one depicts Herod murdering all Swedish children, Granden and the Beef, Christi engraving in Jerusalem. Painted in 1828 by Sven Nilsson, Trane-Sven i Härnäs, Blekinge, in tempera - pigment, egg and ev. flour (Nyström 2012: 150-151) - on grupper tuskraft fabric The fabric is sharp vertically by a smaller and a larger part, with a sparse rough stitch between the parts.
