A group of right-wing yeshiva students from the Beit Orot yeshiva in Jerusalem, marked the fifth anniversary of the intifada by going to the East Jerasalem district of Wadi Jose and white-washing out intifada slogans and Palestinian flags that had been painted on the walls of Arab owned houses in the area. The students took with them lsraeli flags and continued to paint out the slogans untll police arrived and arrested them. The activists were released after a short while after they agreed to return to their yeshiva. Photo shows: a right wing activists painting over intifada slogans in East Jerusalem today.
