Documentation of the soil painting outside the World Museum of Culture. The paintings are inspired by the museum’s collections/objects. In the autumn of 2019 and spring of 2020, a large scale and colourful work of art was created, directly on the concrete slabs at the Way of the Cross. The artists selected are Ea ten Kate, Valeria Montti Colque and Jonathan Josefsson (Ollio). They have chosen to call the painting Matrix. The work houses a myriad of cells or islands and several of the detailed motifs are directly inspired by the collections of the World Culture Museums. The theme is linked to the museum’s base exhibition Cross roads.
