Brace bag with hook

Silver hinged purse clasp with a style corrugated arch form, front clasp is smooth and with a small fixed button, back clasp also entirely smooth with the hanging button with smooth ring to which eye with snared ribbon ornament on the smooth hook. \Long purse of knitted cotton with pink beads. The knitted purse is of later date than the bracket. The purse fits in the Empire period (1795-1815) by the fine knitting and the small pink beads in geometric pattern.
