Albrecht Dürers and Willibald Pirckheimer’s tomb

The artist cut views of the tombs of Dürer and Pirckheimer into a record. Both used captions to illustrate the “relics of Albrecht Dürer.” This is a small format booklet dedicated to Dürer’s written estate and the Nuremberg publisher Campe on the occasion of Dürer’s 300. Death day. He used numerous materials that Heller had collected for his own Dürer publication (cf. Mende 1976, Cat. No. 129).
