St. Agatha bei Bad Goisern im Salzkammergut war um 1900 ein beliebter Urlaubsort bei Künstlern und Intellektuellen. Unter anderem verbrachte hier Gustav Klimt den Sommer 1899. Der Gasthof Pettar, der heutige "Agathawirt", wurde 1903 auch von Rudolf von Alt in einem Aquarell verewigt. — [Markus Fellinger, 3/2014]
