The picture depicts the mural painting from the church in Lita Romaniesca, to the left of the narthex: “Hell.” The village, with the settlements piled up in a small local depression, appears on the Iosefin Map of Transylvania from 1769-1773 (094 sectio) with the name “Olah Leta.” The old wooden church here, built in 1815, sold in 1946 to the CrăBiserica parish to replace the nymphical church of war in 1944.
