An article in the Yorkshire Evening Post asked if Sarony worked in Thirsk in 1851 when he is shown on the census of that year, see http://www.harrogateadvertiser.co.uk/news/local/was-famous-photographer-resident-in-thirsk-in-1851-1-2680811 The answer is yes. The printed sheet found with this daguerreotype advertises Sarony's 'Photographic Portrait Rooms, near the Three Tuns Hotel, Thirsk.
