The medal is round. The coat of arms laid over two corked muscures and crowned with a royal crown. In the shield an armbrush accompanied by two roses. On the outside a coat of arms laid over two crossed swords and crowned with a royal crown. The Shield four-part with a Lion in the 2nd and 3rd fields and with a Tower in the 1st and 4th fields. Inscription: Småland’s Sons to the Host of the Kingdom. 1994-2000. IB 12. The Småland Brigade. Inscription on the outside: Småland’s Sons to the Host of the Kingdom. 1623-2000. I 12/Fo 17. The Regiment of Småland. Yellow ribbon with wide red edges, a blue ribbon in the middle with a red dash on each side. The medal is kept in an ash along with a miniature medal and a trailer buckle.
