The medal is round. The coat of arms laid over two cross covered canon tubes with a royal crown. Under the shield a grenade on waves. In the shield a bagge with a fana. Inscription: Gotland Coastal Artillery Regiment KA3, 1938-2000. Inscription on the outside: Memorial Medal. Red ribbon with a yellow dash in the middle and two yellow dashes on each side. The medal is kept in ash along with a miniature medal, a trailer buckle and a ribbon.
